Brand Exclusivity

We become your sole authorised seller on Amazon. You get consistent monthly orders, one controlled price, and the channel off your plate entirely.

What it is

A wholesale customer, not an agency

Exclusivity is a distribution arrangement. You sell us stock on trading terms like any other wholesale account. We hold it, list it, advertise it and fulfil it, as the only authorised seller on Amazon.

That is the whole mechanism. The reason it fixes the reseller problem is that there is no longer anything to fix: with one authorised seller and a supply chain that can be closed off, the people undercutting you run out of stock and do not get more.

You invoice us

Normal purchase orders on normal terms. Cash comes in when the stock ships, not when it sells.

We carry the risk

Inventory, storage, advertising spend and returns all sit with us. If a line does not sell, that is our problem.

You keep everything else

Your own site, your trade accounts, your retail, other marketplaces. This is Amazon only, in the territory we agree.

How it works

From agreement to a clean channel

1

We agree terms

Trading terms, territory, the range we take on and minimum order commitments. Written down before anyone ships anything.

2

We buy the stock

First purchase order placed. You are paid as a supplier, and the inventory risk moves to us from that point.

3

We clean the channel

Unauthorised sellers identified and removed through Brand Registry and, where needed, by closing off where they were getting stock. Listings rebuilt. Pricing stabilised.

4

We grow it

Advertising, new range launches, promotions and reporting, with repeat purchase orders coming back to you on a cycle.

Removing sellers is slower than it sounds. Brand Registry complaints handle the obvious cases. The ones with genuine stock bought legitimately somewhere in your supply chain take longer, and they need you to help close the tap. We will be honest about that timeline rather than promising a clean page in a fortnight.
What it is worth

What changes for you

  • Predictable monthly orders. A wholesale customer with a purchase cycle, rather than a channel you have to staff.
  • One price. Amazon stops being the cheapest place to buy your product, which stops it undercutting your stockists and your own site.
  • No advertising budget. We fund the ad spend, because we own the stock it is selling.
  • No listing work. Images, A+ content, Brand Store and copy are built and maintained at our cost.
  • New ranges taken to market. Launches timed with yours rather than trailing six months behind.
  • Almost no admin. Each month comes down to a purchase order and a quick call.
Is it for you?A good fitProbably not
Your problemResellers you cannot police, or no Amazon presence and no appetite to build oneWanting to own the channel as a long-term asset
Your supply chainYou can control who you sell to, or are willing toOpen distribution you have no intention of tightening
Your view of AmazonA sales channel you would rather someone else ranSomething you want visibility and control over week to week
If the right-hand column is closer to the truth, you want Account Management, and for most brands that is the better answer. Exclusivity suits a specific problem rather than being the premium option.
What it looks like

Velda, a year on one listing

Around ten sellers were competing on the same page, undercutting each other on price. The offer count is the clearest measure of what exclusivity actually does.

Competing offers on the gravel listing
